A market and business with a promising future – A brief portrait
Sydsvensk Plastbeläggning AB was founded in 1964 and if you're curious about its exotic Swedish name, it roughly means "Southern Sweden Plastic Coating Ltd". In the 80’s, the company under the leadership of Christer Malmberg decided to move from the original coating activity to the manufacturing of high-performance plastics in stock-shapes and near-net shapes. In 2007, Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials purchased Sydsvensk Plastbeläggning AB. The leverage of this acquisition was a great contribution to complete QEPP portfolio of products in order to provide always more powerful, versatile and tailored solutions to customer demands.
Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials EPP Sweden (Sydsvenskplast) is now ISO 13485:2003 certified.
