Sultron™ LSG R5500 XRP PPSU (Life Science Grade, X-ray RadioPaque) stock shapes are based on Radel® PPSU resin that is pre assessed for biocompatibility and include the x ray image contrast agent barium sulphate, which allows visibility under x ray. The stock shape is pre assessed for biocompatibility for up to 24 hours of contact with body and tissue according to ISO 10993, is highly suitable for repeated steam autoclaving and hot washing cycles, and exhibits resistance to common acids and bases over a broad temperature range, including commercial washing solutions. Often favored across the medical and life science fields for their wide array of color options, these PPSU stock shapes are excellent candidates for a broad range of applications such as dental and surgical instruments and trial implants, or for components of target devices, endoscopes, pins, guidewire accessories, or fixations.
