Ertalon® 6PLA PA6

Ertalon® 6PLA Polyamide PA6 / Nylatron® MC 907 Polyamide PA6 unmodified shapes offer the highest strength and hardness of all nylon 6 grades, and also exhibit great creep and wear resistance, heat aging properties, and machinability capabilities. Due to this grade’s FDA and EU food contact compliant composition, Ertalon® 6PLA PA6 / Nylatron® MC 907 PA6 components can be found throughout the food processing and packaging industry as gears, rollers, wheel, bearings, and conveyor wear parts.


Ketron® VMX PEEK

This Ketron® PEEK grade, containing a metal detectable additive and a solid lubricant, has been specifically tailored for use in the food processing and packaging industries where it can easily be traced by the conventional metal detection systems installed to detect contamination of the foodstuffs (results may vary depending on the sensitivity of the metal detection system used). Ketron® VMX Peek also presents better sliding properties over standard MD PEEK products and hence better suited for moving parts in Food Processing related applications.


Ketron® TX PEEK

Ketron® TX Polyetheretherketone PEEK is an internally lubricated, EU 10/2011 and FDA Compliant grade that offers improved wear and frictional performance over virgin PEEK. Acetron® VMX POM-C

Acetron® VMX POM-C, containing a metal detectable additive, has been specifically tailored for use in the food processing and packaging industries where it can easily be traced by different detection systems installed to detect contamination of the foodstuffs. Acetron® VMX presents good mechanical strength, stiffness and impact strength, and therefore make this grade especially suited for different applications like gears, scrapers, grippers, etc.


Sultron™ LSG PSU

Sultron™ LSG (Life Science Grade) Polysulfone PSU shapes exhibit a combination of great mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties, and excellent hydrolysis and chemical resistance. Sultron™ PSU

Ertalon® 6 XAU+ PA6

Ertalon® 6 XAU+ Polyamide PA6 is a heat stabilized cast nylon grade, with a very dense and highly crystalline structure. When compared to conventional extruded or cast nylons, Ertalon® 6 XAU+ PA6 offers superior heat aging performance in air, which allows this material to exhibit higher continuous service temperatures. Due to these characteristics, Ertalon® 6 XAU+ PA components are often recommended for bearings and other mechanical parts that are subject to wear, and that are operating for long periods of time at temperatures over 60° C / 140° F.


Nylatron® NSM PA6

Nylatron® NSM Polyamide PA66 is an extruded, weather resistant grade that possesses an ideal balance of strength and toughness for general purpose components.


Nylatron® SLG PA6

Nylatron® GSM PA6

Nylatron® GSM Blue Polyamide PA6 is a Molybdenum Disulphide (MoS2) and oil filled nylon that is characterized by its superior frictional characteristics, low coefficient of friction, greater limiting PV, and low “k” factor. Fluorosint® 500 PTFE

Fluorosint® 500 Polytetrafluoroethylene PTFE shapes possess a unique combination of stability and wear resistance, for sealing applications where tight dimensional control is required. With nine times greater resistance to deformation under load than unfilled PTFE, Fluorosint® 500 PTFE exhibits outstanding chemical and hydrolysis resistance, and excellent mechanical and tribological properties. Additionally, Fluorosint® 500 PTFE’s coefficient of linear thermal expansion approaches the expansion rate of aluminum and is 1/4 that of virgin PTFE, which often eliminates fit and clearance problems for designers.


Fluorosint® 207 PTFE

Fluorosint® 207 Polytetrafluoroethylene PTFE is a Food Contact Compliant grade of Fluorosint® with a unique combination of dimensional stability and creep resistance, exceptional sliding and wear properties, and outstanding chemical and hydrolysis resistance. Possessing the lowest coefficient of friction of all Fluorosint® materials, Fluorosint® 207 PTFE shapes excel in food, pharmaceutical, and chemical processing industries, especially for aggressive service bearing and bushing applications. Sultron™ LSG PPSU

Duratron® U1000 PEI

Duratron® U1000 PEI Polyetherimide shapes exhibit high strength, dimensional stability, and superior flame and heat resistance. Due to this grade's ability to perform continuously to 340°F / 170°C, Duratron® U1000 PEI is the ideal solution for applications that require consistent dielectric properties over a wide frequency range. Another strength of Duratron® U1000 PEI shapes are their hydrolysis and chemical resistance, enabling them to withstand repeated autoclaving cycles in medical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology markets.


Duratron® CU60 PBI

Duratron® CU60 PBI Polybenzimidazole is the highest performing engineering plastic available from Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials due to its superior mechanical properties, heat resistance, and mechanical property retention over 400°F / 205°C. It has better wear resistance and load carrying capabilities at extreme temperatures than any other reinforced or unreinforced advanced engineering plastic, which is why this material is attractive to semiconductor manufacturers for vacuum chamber applications. Duratron® T5530 PAI

Duratron® T5530 PAI Polyamide-imide is a compression molded, 30% glass reinforced grade that offers high stiffness, strength, and creep resistance. Although similar in composition to Duratron® T5030 PAI, Duratron® T5530 PAI is ideal for structural applications that support static loads for extended periods of time, at high temperatures. Additionally, Duratron® T5530 PAI exhibits superior dimensional stability up to 482° F / 250° C , making it a favored solution for precision parts in the semiconductor and electronics industry. 


Duratron® T4501 PAI

Duratron® T4501 PAI Polyamide-imide possesses high compressive strength and excellent wear resistance, making it a great performer in general purpose wear and friction applications. This grade is similar in composition to Duratron® T4301 PAI, and is able to endure harsh thermal, chemical, and stress conditions. When a larger shape or component is required, Duratron® T4501 PAI is often chosen as a reliable solution.


Duratron® T4503 PAI

Compression molded Duratron® T4503 PAI Polyamide-imide shapes posses outstanding electrical insulation properties, and excellent dimensional stability qualities. This grade is similar in composition to Duratron® T4203 PAI, and is often selected for extreme applications where large geometries are required such as dies, or as thermal insulators.


Duratron® T4301 PAI

Duratron® T4301 PAI Polyamide-imide offers a very low expansion rate and coefficient of friction, and also exhibits little to no slip-stick in use. The addition of PTFE and graphite provides higher wear resistance compared to the unfilled Duratron® T4203 PAI grade, and also gives Duratron® T4301 PAI excellent dimensional stability capabilities over a wide temperature range. Duratron® T4301 PAI’s flexural modulus of 1,000,000 psi is higher than most other advanced engineering plastics, which allows it to excel in severe service wear applications such as non-lubricated bearings, seals, bearing cages, and reciprocating compressor parts.


TIVAR® 1000 ASTL UHMW-PE

TIVAR® 1000 ASTL UHMW-PE, based on a UHMW-PE grade with extremely high molecular weight, has been specifically developed for tough anti-abrasion applications. TIVAR® 1000 ASTL UHMW-PE shows a higher wear and abrasion resistance and a lower surface resistivity than TIVAR® 1000 UHMW-PE antistatic. The additives used also render this material static dissipative and highly UV-resistant.


TIVAR® Cestidur UHMW-PE

TIVAR® Cestidur UHMW-PE is a modified UHMW-PE with extremely high molecular weight. The latter in combination with a particular manufacturing process result in a PE-UHMW grade with superior wear and abrasion resistance over TIVAR® 1000.


TIVAR® 1000 UHMW-PE

TIVAR® 1000 Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene UHMW-PE shapes have a well-balanced property profile with a unique combination of wear and corrosion resistance, a low friction surface, excellent impact strength and FDA and EU compliant composition. This self-lubricating grade sets the standard for engineered polymers, and is prevalent in a variety of industries and applications. For these reasons, TIVAR® 1000 UHMW-PE components are often favored as solutions for bearings, bushings, chain guides, sprockets, gears, rollers, paddles, and scrapers.


TIVAR® 1000 antistatic UHMW-PE

TIVAR® 1000 Antistatic Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene UHMW-PE / TIVAR® ESD Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene UHMW-PE electro static dissipative, carbon-filled shapes protect against electrical charge build-up on wear surfaces. Ertalyte® TX PET

Ertalyte® TX Polyethylene Terephthalate Polyester PET-P is an unreinforced, semi-crystalline grade that exhibits superior dimensional stability, excellent wear resistance, a low coefficient of friction, high strength and rigidity, outstanding stain resistance, and great chemical and abrasion resistance. Due to Ertalyte® TX PET-P’s low moisture absorption rate, this grade’s mechanical and electrical properties are unaffected by moisture, which gives this grade better wear and inertness over nylon and acetal products, and also a lower wear rate than unmodified polyesters. These characteristics make Ertalyte® TX PET-P ideal for use in applications that involve high pressure and velocity conditions, and environments with soft metal and plastic mating surfaces where noise abatement is critical.


Ertalyte® PET

Ertalyte® Polyethylene Terephthalate Polyester PET-P is an unreinforced, semi-crystalline grade that is produced from proprietary resin grades made by Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials. Characterized by its excellent wear resistance, low coefficient of friction, high strength, and resistance to moderately acidic solutions, this grade is capable of sustaining high loads, and retains more of its original strength up to 180° F / 85° C than nylons or acetals. Due to these characteristics, Ertalyte® PET-P components are a favored solution for bearing and structural applications throughout the pharmaceutical, food processing and packaging, and oil and gas industries.


Ertacetal® C POM-C

Ertacetal® C Polyoxymethylene POM-C / Acetron® GP Polyoxymethylene POM-C is a general purpose, copolymer acetal grade that is often favored for its porosity free nature. Ertacetal® C POM-C / Acetron® GP POM-C shapes also offer low moisture and excellent machinability capabilities, making it a very versatile material that can excel in a multitude of environments. Ertalon® 6SA PA6

Ertalon® 6 SA Polyamide PA6 exhibits a great combination of mechanical strength, stiffness, toughness, mechanical damping properties, and creep and wear resistance. In addition to these characteristics, this particular grade possesses excellent electrical insulating properties and outstanding chemical resistance capabilities. Techtron® HPV PPS

Semitron® ESd 225 POM-H

Semitron® ESd 225 Polyoxymethylene POM shapes are characterized by their excellent wear resistance, thermal performance, and their ability to quickly dissipate static charges. Due to these properties, this grade is ideal for several applications throughout the semiconductor and electronics industry, such as hard disk drive fixtures, high speed electronic printing components, jigs and fixtures for static control, and wafer processing components.



Semitron® HPV PEEK

Semitron® HPV ESd Polyetheretherketone PEEK electro static dissipative shapes contain specific additives that make it an excellent performer in wear and friction applications where antistatic properties are essential. Due to this, this grade excels in electronic fixture applications that require a high degree of dimensional stability over an extended thermal range, as well as precise machinability.


Duratron® T4203 PAI

Duratron® T4203 PAI Polyamide-imide offers the most superior impact strength of all Duratron® T PAI grades, while also possessing the highest elongation of all Duratron® grades. Due to its intrinsic high temperature resistance, dimensional stability, and exceptional machinability, Duratron® T4203 PAI is often used for precision parts in high-tech equipment. Nylatron® 66 SA FR PA66

Nylatron® 66 SA Flame Retardant (FR) Polyamide PA66 shapes were developed to fulfill the requirements of the plastic flammability test, which determines the tendency of the material to either extinguish or spread the flame once the it has been ignited. This test procedure is described in UL 94, and this particular Nylatron® grade fulfills the V-0 criteria from a thickness of 1 mm, while also meeting the requirements of EN 45545-2 regulation- a standard specific to railway applications. For these reasons, Nylatron® SA FR PA66 components are often favored solutions for applications within the transportation and railway markets such as, cable holders, clamps, and channels, and connections / sockets.


Ertalon® 4.6 PA4.6

Ketron® LSG CA30 PEEK

Ketron® LSG CA30 Polyetheretherketone PEEK biocompatible stock shapes are 30% carbon fiber-reinforced, and are USP and ISO-10993-1 Compliant. Due to these characteristics, Ketron® CA30 LSG PEEK exhibits exceptional stiffness and mechanical strength, and optimum wear and creep resistance. Ketron® LSG CA30 PEEK components are also sterilizable by means of steam, dry heat, ethylene oxide, plasma, and gamma irradiation, which is why they are often chosen as solutions in the medical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology markets.


Fluorosint® HPV PTFE

Fluorosint® HPV Polytetrafluoroethylene PTFE is an FDA Compliant, high performance, bearing grade of Fluorosint®. Optimized for high PV, and low “k” or wear factor, Fluorosint® HPV PTFE was developed specifically for bearing applications, where other PTFE formulations typically exhibit premature wear and cannot perform adequately. Ideal for food processing and pharmaceutical applications, Fluorosint® HPV PTFE’s FDA Compliance gives equipment manufacturers new design options, due to this grade’s superior load bearing and wear characteristics.


Techtron® GF40 PPS

This 40% glass fibre reinforced grade offers a higher stiffness and creep resistance than Techtron® 1000 PPS and has a much better dimensional stability. This grade is very appropriate for structural applications carrying high static loads for long periods of time at elevated temperatures. The suitability of Techtron® GF40 PPS for sliding parts, however, is to be carefully examined since the glass fibres tend to abrade the mating surface.


Nylatron® FST PA66

Nylatron® FST Polyamide PA66 shapes are fire, smoke, and toxicity retardant, which enables them to withstand high temperatures. In addition to these characteristics, Nylatron® FST PA66 is also JAR / FAR 25.853 compliant. As the first engineering plastic to achieve this standard, this grade was also developed specifically for aircraft interior environments, and is often favored as a replacement for metal parts applications, such as brackets, seal bushings, slide rails, and duct seals.


Ertacetal® C ELS POM-C

Ertacetal® C ELS Polyoxymethylene POM-C shapes exhibit excellent electrical conductivity qualities, low moisture absorption, high strength and stiffness, and great machinability capabilities. This grade in particular is recommended for use in electrical and explosion sensitive applications, and complies with REACH (EC) no 1907/2006 and UL 94 HB flame rating requirements.
