TIVAR™ H.O.T-G2 FG UHMW-PE (Food Grade) provides an alternative to TIVAR™ H.O.T. FG UHMW-PE, based on non-fluorinated* chemistries and a manufacturing process that does not intentionally add per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), as defined in the Annex XV restriction proposal published on 22nd March 2023. *(Based on information provided by our raw material suppliers, and on knowledge of our finished product compositions.) TIVAR™ H.O.T-G2 FG UHMW-PE shapes are formulated to maintain key performance properties at higher operating temperature ranges. This UHMW-PE grade excels in a variety of industrial manufacturing environments with operating temperatures of up to 135°C (275°F). Components made from TIVAR™ H.O.T-G2 FG UHMW-PE are compliant with EU 10/2011 and FDA 21 CFR § 177.1520 standard, making them the ideal, longer-lasting material for wear parts in dairy, bakery, poultry/meat and other food processing industries where higher temperatures or frequent chemical wash downs shorten part life.
