Nick is a Senior Marketing and Business Development Professional, with over 20 years of Global experience. Most recently, he worked as the Director of Marketing at Thermo Fisher Scientific where he led the Global Marketing Team, grew and implemented short-term and long-term company strategies, achieved revenue and profitability targets, and developed and rolled out several new products and innovations. Nick joins our Strategic Growth Manager team of professionals, who are driving our product strategy in key industries that include Semiconductor and Electronics, Oil and Gas, Aerospace, Renewable Energy, Medical, and Food Processing and Packaging.
At Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials, prioritizing our investments in our Strategic Marketing Organization is critical to ensuring that we can continue to bring innovative solutions to our customers. The SGM role is the essential link for us between market trends, and our R&D strategy, enabling us to develop products that meet the current and future industry trends and challenges. In his Strategic Growth Manager role, Nick’s primary objective is to drive Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials to a more customer-centric and application-pull focus. Additionally, Nick will set the overall strategy for our Global Semiconductor Market, including developing compelling and targeted segment value propositions with key applications and solutions, based on customer needs and feedback, and in the language of the OEM. He will proactively steer Research and Development priorities for the segment, based on the unmet needs of OEMs, and support Key OEM Managers by directing sales from the lead generation phase to sales closure.
Outside of work, Nick is an avid Boston sports fan (his hometown), and an aspiring chef. He also enjoys hiking, and is very good at losing golf balls - his words, not mine. Based out of Miami, Florida, Nick will work closely with his fellow SGM Team Members, as well as the SGM Team Leader, Frank Johänning. Over the next few weeks, he will begin the onboarding process, with his official starting date being July 20, 2020.
Please join us in welcoming Nick to the Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials family!
