Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Acquires Recycling Activities of Minger Kunststofftechnik


Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials AG (MCAM), a leading global manufacturer of high-performance materials, today announced that it has entered into an agreement for the acquisition of the recycling activities of Minger Kunststofftechnik AG (Minger) through its Swiss subsidiary MCAM Symalit AG. The transaction is expected to close by end of February 2020.

With this agreement, MCAM Symalit AG will take over all recycling-related activities and assets, current agreements with customers and suppliers as well as all employees. Current trademarks and all product designations as well as location and contacts of current activities will remain.

Minger Kunststofftechnik AG has been a market leader in recycling of engineering plastics and especially advanced materials, which is the core domain of Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials. Current Minger activities cover the whole spectrum of recycling services such as grinding, regranulation, compounding as well as sorting and purifying. Minger has unique capabilities, especially in the purification of plastic waste.
