TIVAR® DS UHMW-PE
Ultra High Molecular Weight PolyethyleneTIVAR® DS is a modified UHMW-PE with extremely high molecular weight (average 9E6 g/mol), which, when combined with its particular manufacturing process, results in superior wear and abrasion resistance over TIVAR® 1000 UHMW-PE. It also is FDA 21 CFR § 177.1520 compliant which makes this grade ideal for components and replacement parts in food processing and packaging plants.
